How to individually and bulk create assets

Before creating assets in your inventory, make sure you have already created the asset category, sub-category, asset statuses and any custom fields you require. Do note that custom fields are mandatory to fill in.

To individually create assets:

1. On the left panel of your admin dashboard, head to Others > Asset Management > Inventory.

2. Click the Active Assets tab.

3. Click Create.

4. Fill in the asset’s name and description.

5. Select asset category and sub-category.

6. Fill in asset details.

7. Confirm by clicking Confirm.

To bulk create assets:

1. On the left panel of your admin dashboard, head to Others > Asset Management > Inventory.

2. Click the Active Assets tab.

3. Click Bulk Create.

4. Download the Excel template.

5. Open and fill in the Excel template.

6. Select asset category.

7. Upload the edited template.

8. Confirm by clicking Confirm.
